MUTASI VIRUS DB
Waspada munculnya mutasi virus dengue/demam berdarah. Orang2 kalangan atas seperti Presdir Astra & dir Wings Biru yg notabene org2 kelas atas menjadi korban tewas akibat mutasi virus DB !
Virus ini tdk menampakkan gejala umum DB, tdk ada demam tinggi, tdk ada bintik2 merah, penderita hanya merasa sedikit meriang & batuk2, sehingga hampir tiap penderita menganggapnya sbg flu biasa, persis spt yg dialami Presiden Direktur Astra & Wings, setlh bbrp hr gejala meriang tdk hilang (jelas tdk hilang krn DB kok diobati dgn obat flu), ke 2 org tsb dibawa ke Singapore dan ke 2 nya tidak tertolong,
saran dari dokter2 Indonesia : begitu ada gejala meriang, SEGERA ke RS terdekat periksa darah, utk mrk yg periksa darah pd hr ke 3 atau ke 4 biasanya tidak tertolong ! Jangan bawa pasien ke singapore krn dokter2 disana tdk pengalaman nangani pasien DB, justru dokter2 kita lbh pengalaman.
Virus ini bermutasi luar biasa, nyamuk pembawa virus bisa bertelur di genangan air yg tidak jernih sekalipun, bisa hidup di daerah tinggi yg dingin dan betah hidup di area perkotaan yg padat penghuni, klrn itu lah virus ini disebut virus metropolis (Majalah Tempo), hari ini ibunda artis Lidya Kandou jg meninggal dgn gejala meriang, blm jelas apakah jg korban virus yg sama, yg jelas menrt Tempo nyamuk pembawa virus ini menggigit bekas pasien DB yg ditubuhnya msh ada sisa2 virus DB yang “dormant” (tidur), saat mengigit itulah virus dr bekas pasien DB bersintesis dengan virus yang ditubuh sang nyamuk, ke 2 virus ini bermutasi melahirkan virus baru yang jsutru lebih berbhaya krn gejalanya tersamar sebagai gejala flu biasa yg kita anggap remeh, jadi ber hati2 lah kalau kita mengalami gejala meriang, badan tidak enak & batuk2, segera ke RS terdekat minta pemeriksaan DB, semoga info ini bermanfaat.

An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable. .. At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!

In windows the folder name and the special system variables share the same interface, so when you create a folder with a system variable name it will consider that folder already exist!!
These special system variables are available irrespective of path. You cannot create a folder with these names also:
CON, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3,COM1 to COM9 and LPT1 to LPT9....,PRN. CON means console, COM1 means serial port 1, LPT1 means parallel port 1

Like jokes, urban legends, and virus hoaxes, tips about Word's little-used or undocumented features periodically makes their way around the Internet, occasioning a wave of postings in Word newsgroups. One of these is =rand(), which is sometimes represented as an Easter egg, sometimes feared as a possible virus. It is neither. It is a Word function (undocumented in the online Help but documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base) that can be useful in certain circumstances.
The rand function
The Microsoft Knowledge Base article "How to Insert Sample Text into a Document in Word [212251]" explains the use and syntax of the function:
Microsoft Word allows you to quickly insert sample text into a document. To do this, type =rand() in the document where you want the text to appear, and then press ENTER.
The inserted text is that hardy perennial: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog," which contains every letter in the English alphabet.
By default, the sample text contains three paragraphs, each containing five sentences. You can control how many paragraphs and sentences appear by adding numbers inside the parentheses, for instance:
=rand(3,4)
The first number is the number of paragraphs, and the second the number of sentences per paragraph. If you omit the second number, you get five sentences in each paragraph. So, for example:
=rand(3,4)
inserts three, four-sentence paragraphs, while:
=rand(10)
inserts ten, five-sentence paragraphs.
The maximum number for either parameter is 200 and may be lower depending on the number of paragraphs and sentences specified. For instance, if you specify 200 paragraphs, then the maximum number of sentences per paragraph you can specify is 99:

Admittedly, this function serves a useful purpose for filling a page when you're designing a template and want to see how it will look with text in it. It's also easy to see how users can be alarmed and fear this is a virus when someone suggests they try "=rand(200,99)," which quickly blows up into a giant document! Like jokes, urban legends, and virus hoaxes, tips about Word's little-used or undocumented features periodically makes their way around the Internet, occasioning a wave of postings in Word newsgroups. One of these is =rand(), which is sometimes represented as an Easter egg, sometimes feared as a possible virus. It is neither. It is a Word function (undocumented in the online Help but documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base) that can be useful in certain circumstances.
The rand function
The Microsoft Knowledge Base article "How to Insert Sample Text into a Document in Word [212251]" explains the use and syntax of the function:
Microsoft Word allows you to quickly insert sample text into a document. To do this, type =rand() in the document where you want the text to appear, and then press ENTER.
The inserted text is that hardy perennial: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog," which contains every letter in the English alphabet.
By default, the sample text contains three paragraphs, each containing five sentences. You can control how many paragraphs and sentences appear by adding numbers inside the parentheses, for instance:
=rand(3,4)
The first number is the number of paragraphs, and the second the number of sentences per paragraph. If you omit the second number, you get five sentences in each paragraph. So, for example:

This program uses the same filter criteria as Spam Assassin, and while that may not sound like a good thing it can actually be a tremendous asset. Essentially, what SpamNix allows you to do is to "test" your emails to see if they'll make it through the Spam Assassin filters.
Just send your email to yourself using the SpamNix filters and you'll know for certain if your email message meets the Spam Assassin criteria.
It's a shame that honest online marketers must go through all this trouble just to send an email to our opt-in list, but as tools like Spam Assassin become more and more commonplace, tools like SpamNix will become more and more necessary.

This program uses the same filter criteria as Spam Assassin, and while that may not sound like a good thing it can actually be a tremendous asset. Essentially, what SpamNix allows you to do is to "test" your emails to see if they'll make it through the Spam Assassin filters.
Just send your email to yourself using the SpamNix filters and you'll know for certain if your email message meets the Spam Assassin criteria.
It's a shame that honest online marketers must go through all this trouble just to send an email to our opt-in list, but as tools like Spam Assassin become more and more commonplace, tools like SpamNix will become more and more necessary.
